Character development.

Early stages of developing a character to work with from the world I've co created for the semester's work. The world is a futuristic, apocalyptic Sydney being invaded by mutant sea creatures from the deep. It's all out guerilla war-fare on the city streets as the locals, cut off from and seemingly abandoned by the rest of the country, fight for control of their once fair city.

Cecilia Blanc
- Free spirited "party girl" type of about 25 who was extremely excited to move from the outer suburbs to her new, inner city, harbor view home. That excitement didn't last though as not long after the city was invaded by ferocious, mutant sea creatures.

- Joined the "People's Army" defending the public because she's terrified of fish and wanted to be able to carry a weapon on her person at all times.

- Freakishly tall for a woman ( around 6') but suffers from 'adora-kluts' syndrome.

- Rather moody; bright and cheery one moment and angry and yelling a lot the next.

- Has a younger brother who is currently taking refuge at UniNSW which has been set up as a well guarded safe zone within the city. Their parents are on the other side of the fence so she considers his safety and well being her responsibility.

- Don't be fooled by her appearance and demeanor, she can kick butt when she wants to and is somewhat "trigger happy" (which in combination with being clumsy is quite frightening).

- Is generally happy and loves life and isn't going to allow some freaky, stinking fish to come in and screw everything up.

Now I can't draw characters very well so developing Cecilia visually is going to be interesting.
